Happy Birthday to ME!

On August 19th, Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Jeff came to Montana to help celebrate my first birthday. We had a wonderful time and did tons of stuff together. Grandpa, Uncle Jeff and Daddy played golf on my daddy's pretty golf course and we all had such fun together. If you start at the bottom of this post, you'll see how our days unfolded in order. It was a great pre-birthday weekend!!!
Happy Birthday to me; happy birthday to me; happy birthday to me....I'll be one on August 24th! Hello to everyone that follows my blog!!!
Here's Grandpa & I making a very important phone call....what was that number again?
454-???
Here I am with Grandma & Grandpa discussing something important....not sure what, but I totally have their undivided attention. Isn't that how it's suppose to be? All about ME!!
Aunt Steph and I were playing peek-a-boo. It's a fun game.

Here are two more of my favorite people. I call them Uncle Taylor and Aunt Steph. They are best friends with Mommy & Daddy. They are so nice to me and I love their dog, Khan...he's big and gentle. Daddy and Uncle Taylor ski together a lot. Aunt Steph is a wonderful kindergarten teacher and a good friend to Mommy.

Look at this new book from Uncle Jeff. It has buttons to push and it plays music and has great pictures inside. I love books.

After cake, I got to open my presents! I love opening presents, especially when you can play with the tissue paper and boxes. Here's Uncle Jeff helping me open a big box.

Here I am celebrating my first birthday with my two favorite people: Mommy & Daddy! Check out my backyard in the rear of the photo. Living in Montana is a good thing.
Daddy tried to bite into my cake to show my how to destroy it. I did pretty good all on my own.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

AT LAST, it was time for my birthday cake. It looked like a giant cupcake before I started to eat it. It also had a big #1 on top of it, but I was really more interested in the cake. Well! If I can't play by MY rules, I'm not going to let anyone play. I'll just steal all the balls and go inside!!!

I thought I could be on someone's team....so I gathered up all the balls first of all.....
While the elk was cooking on the grill, we had a little yard dart game going on. Here's Uncle Jeff getting ready to play.
Just me and my daddy.
Before my birthday party started, Daddy and I just hung out in the back yard. I love looking at all the rocks we have in the landscaping.
Does this angle make my butt look big? I hope not!

To heck with diapers and swimming suits; au-natural is my favorite way to be!
Friday after we returned from our hike and had lunch, it was pool time! It was actually hot in Montana over the weekend of my birthday.
Me & Mommy again....we're real outdoorsy girls....
Friday morning, we did another hike to a different location. This time I rode on Mommy's back; we're best friends.
At Daddy's softball games, there are always a TON of nice puppy dogs.
Here's a golden retriever that was extra nice to pet.
Mommy, Daddy & me at the restaurant.
On Thursday evening, we met Daddy after work and had a bite to eat before his softball game. Here I am flirting with the cute waiter. He was so nice to me.
Uncle Jeff & I by the edge of the stream. Can you see how clear the water is?
Mommy, Me & Uncle Jeff
Here I am using the Camelback water system. I guess if we're going to be a hiking/outdoors/type family, then I needed to learn how to get water out of this contraption. It's really just like sucking on a straw and I can do it all by myself when we're hiking.
Here's Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Jeff and me at the top of Ousel Falls. Mom was manning the camera for this picture.
This......is Ousel Falls where we went hiking. It's practically in my backyard and we go there a lot to hike. The water is very cold and clear.

Uncle Jeff carried me the whole hike in this spiffy carrier. I like riding with Uncle Jeff 'cause you can see for a long ways when you're up that high!
Here's Mommy & Me as we were getting ready to start the hike. Daddy had to work that morning, so it was just me, Mommy, Uncle Jeff & Grandma and Grandpa.

The first morning my family was here in Montana, we went for an early morning hike. It was only about 40 degrees, so I had to bundle up.
