March in Montana

Look at me and my brothers, Moose & Rocky. Together, my brothers weigh over 32 pounds! But even though they are so big, they are as gentle as a lamb with me. I can "face-plant" into them, pull their fur, and do about anything...and they still tolerate me. I really love my kitties.
All these pictures were taken this past week and sent to Grandma Judy to make her feel better after some snowboarder in Colorado ran into my Grandma and busted up her pelvis. She promises that she will be "fixed" by the time I come back to NE in April. She says seeing my picture is the best medicine she can take.
Hey, I'm happy to help; me and Grandma are best friends.
Here I am getting the hang of drinking out of a tippy cup. I still prefer the bottle, but this isn't a bad way to get that yummy stuff.

Here I am as a Lucky Charm on St. Patrick's Day! Check out my new khakis....khakis are one of the favorite clothing items in our family...everyone wears them...and now me too!

Here I am playing with my friends. This sitting up by yourself sure comes in handy!

What's this? An Arab baby? Silly Daddy was playing the other night and got one of my t-shirts all bundled up around my head. Mohammad Kalib Shek Allison?

Here's tubby time. I love my baths!

Here I am ready to go again. This is the hat that Grandpa Marty got me...it's called a Knot-Head and has an adjustable part so that I keep growing into it. It's still a bit big, but it's okay.
It's still winter here in MT, so I have to wear a hat all the time...
even though the calendar may say it's spring.

Fly the Friendly Skies - A Trip to Omaha

On February 26th, I took my first airplane ride at 6-months of age. This is me sitting in my big airline seat. We came back to Nebraska so that Mommy could host a bridal shower for my Aunt Michaela who's getting married later this spring. Uncle Jeff flew to Montana to ski with my daddy all weekend, so we just moved into Uncle Jeff's house in Omaha. We got to take care of his dog Harrison....I love Harrison. Mommy brought tons of toys and things for me to do on the airplane, however, I slept most of the way on both legs of the trip. I met some nice people on the airplane that were helpful to my mommy. It was our first solo trip. I'll fly again in April when we come back to Nebraska for Aunt Michaela's wedding.

I got to spend about 15 minutes in the Denver airport with Uncle Jeff. He was flying to Montana at the same time I was flying to Nebraska. He and daddy did some EXTREME skiing all weekend on parts of the big mountains where I live. They went places on the mountain that none of the rest of my family that skis can go. They're really good skiers and they had a lot of fun. It was nice to see Uncle Jeff and have him hold me; even if it was for only 15 minutes.

Here we are as we first arrived in Omaha. We saw this Budweiser sign that welcomed us and took this picture. We thought it was appropriate considering the my Grandpa sells the stuff! I'd never been to Nebraska. It's nice....cold like Montana....but at least Grandma & Grandpa are here. The airlines didn't get my car seat onto the plane from Denver to Omaha, so Mommy had to have a serious conversation with some lady about that. We borrowed one from another airline so that I could at least get back to Uncle Jeff's house that night. Some nice man finally delivered my car seat and Mommy's luggage later that night. Geesh!.....you'd think they could have gotten my seat onto the plane....what's a girl to do without her seat?

On Friday night after a big day of shopping and having my picture taken, Mommy, Grandpa & Grandma and me went to this nice restaurant called Bonefish Grill. I ate before we went and I fell asleep in Grandma's arms during the whole meal, so that everyone got to enjoy their meal. I guess I had a lot of admirers in the restaurant, they tell me, as I didn't make a peep the whole time we were there. Mommy always says you have to have good manners when you dine out.

Here I am putting my gums on the cold bottle of Bud Light that Grandpa had while we were waiting for our table at Bonefish Grill. Don't call Child Protective Services....I didn't have any beer...just the cold feel of that bottle on my soon to be teething gums.

Grandpa and I hung out together at Uncle Jeff's house on Saturday while Mommy & Grandma hosted Aunt Michaela's wedding shower. I took a very nice nap for Grandpa and we got along really well. Grandpa said it'd been a long time since he'd babysat a little kid my size.

Here's Mommy & Me after the shower.

Here I am with Grandma after the bridal shower. We're good buddies.

Here I am with Aunt Michaela. She's mommy's best friend. Aunt Michaela is getting married in April to this nice guy, Cole. We're going to make another trip back to Nebraska just to see her on the big day in life.

Here I am wearing my UNO bib that Uncle Jeff gave to me when I was born. I had just finished eating a dinner of sweet potatoes, pears and rice cereal. Yum!

Here I am Saturday afternoon with Grandpa Marty. We had fun together while Mommy & Grandma were at Aunt Michaela's bridal shower.

Here I am in my new bunny suit that Grandma found for me. It has bunny feet with ears that I like to pull on and a pink bunny tail on my rear end.
