Almost time for Camp!

In order to prepare for our upcoming trip to Nebraska to "Camp Grandma," we met our friends Matt and Becca who were camping and roasted hot dogs and made s'mores at their campsite.
The wildflowers were so pretty...and of course, they were purple!

I gathered some in my bucket for a centerpiece for the picnic table.

Mommy made a s'more for us to share and boy, was it good! We made it with a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup - graham crackers, gooey marshmallow, melted chocolate and peanut butter, and of course some milk!
Me and Mom - we're buds.

This was my 4th of July outfit - didn't I look festive? The sunglasses were my own touch of fashion :)

Yellowstone National Park - Here I Come!

The weekend after Grandpa Tom and Grandma Janet left, Mommy and Daddy's good friend, Kyle, came to visit us all the way from Rhode Island! They met each other at K-State and are still good friends. One day when Kyle was here, we went to Yellowstone National Park. There was lots of cool stuff to see there...
Buffs, as I called them. They're really big! Later on when we were driving, there was one right next to our car. Mommy rolled down the window to take its' picture, but rolled it back up when the "buff" turned it's head towards Mommy!

We hiked down to a really big waterfall. I was glad Mommy carried me, it was a long ways. On the way up the trail, a squirrel ran right in front of us. That was my favorite part of the whole day! There was a nice beach we stopped at to stretch our legs. The water was cold!
Having a very important conversation with my new friend Kyle.

Right as we were getting out of the car to see Old Faithful, it went off! We saw the top of it from the parking lot as we walked towards it. We stopped and had a snack to kill some time before it went off again. Daddy and Kyle had a beer and Mommy and I shared ice cream with sprinkles. I decided to let Kyle have a bit too. The geyser only goes off every 90 minutes and that was too long for me to wait. But the ice cream was yummy!

Grandpa Tom and Grandma Janet Visit

Grandpa Tom and Grandma Janet drove out to Big Sky over Father's Day weekend. We had lots of fun! We went to my favorite park, took a walk on Ousel Falls trail, went to the Farmer's Market in Bozeman where they had lots of neat stuff (and tons of dogs to look at!), went out to dinner and played in the yard.

Here's Daddy and Grandpa Tom on Father's Day. I wanted to be in the picture, but I was already asleep.
One afternoon, Grandma Janet, Mommy and Daddy went horseback riding in the Porcupine Drainage area. It is really pretty there. They had nice horses - Taxi, Buffy and Sweet Pea. Grandpa Tom stayed home with me while I took my nap. Then the next day, he and Daddy went whitewater rafting on the Gallatin River. They did a part called the Mad Mile with tons of rapids and big waves. Sounds fun for when I'm older!

Here's me and Grandpa Tom having some broccoli on the patio. It's good stuff!

We're all winding down for the night on the couch with a popsicle. They're my favorite bedtime snack and I like to share them with anyone I can.

Planting Flowers

We did a planter of purple and white flowers, and other one with all pink. There seems to be purple in almost everything around here - I wonder if Mom and Dad are trying to tell me something....Go State!
Ha! I stole one of Mom's flower pots and made a seat! I've managed to pull out a green spike flower a few times, but then I get in trouble. Oops. I really like to water the flowers, probably a little too much, but it's good summer fun.

What a great way to end my day - sitting with Moose, having milk and wearing monkey jammies!

Pigtails! My hair is long enough for pigtails, even a pony tail sometimes! Mommy would like them to stay in for longer than it takes to snap a picture, but I'm faster than that. I prefer the wind to blow through my hair instead!

We're back!

Hello again! I'm back! It's been a LONG time since I have had new pictures posted on my blog. Grandma has been SOOOOOOOOO busy this past month with something called "life." My great-grandparents (Grandma Judy's mom and dad) have moved to Hastings to where Grandma works and it's been a real interesting time for Grandma. However, things are settling down and I think Grandma is back on her "feet" as they say with her own life. I wish I could post my own pictures, but I'm not a 23-month old with an I-Phone so that I can do that myself. The only thing I get to do on a computer or TV is watch one episode of the Mickey Mouse Club House and do the Hot Dog Dance. So anyway, I'm back to show you my life in Montana and the joy of summer. On July 14th, Mommy and I will be coming to Nebraska for 10 whole days to spend with Grandma and Grandpa. You'll see LOTS of pictures after that trip!
Can you say bathing beauty? I love my bath times. Since summer has arrived and I'm outside all the time, baths are a nightly thing. It's really fun to get lots of bubbles and then splash really hard. I smell like a real girly-girl when I'm all done and then it's jammy time!
Here I am improving my culinary skills. I love to make cookies and things. Mommy made me this really cool play-doh-like-stuff....you can even eat it! Thanks Mom.
Check out my new foldling picnic table. It's finally summer here in Big Sky and we are eating outside a lot more these days. I can even have the gang over when I use this.

Wouldn't you know it? Just as I get sidwalk art done, it rains! Oh well, Daddy and I got have fun in the rain and stomp in the puddles. Sidewalk chalk if a fun thing to do. I get to express my artistic side. Sometimes at night, I help my dad clean off the range balls that have gotten dirty.
I'm a big helper to my dad.
Making brownies is so much fun! I really like the licking the bowl.
