Pool's open!

Pool's open! I splashed alot and chased my toys around. Sometimes I'd reach over the side and pick up some grass and drop it into the pool. Then I'd try to get the pieces and eat them. It was a fun game. I was pretty tired tonight and crashed pretty hard in my bed. This summer playhing is a lot of hard work! What fun!!!
Check out the new pool!

Here I am playing with my cups while Mommy is filling the pool. I put them in the pool and had so much fun! Before we opened the pool and added water, Mommy and I took a nice long walk. The weather in Montana is really getting nice. This is a new hat from Grandma Judy. I've decided I'm not going to avoid this "hat thing" so I'll just learn to wear them. This one has posies!

Pool's open! This just arrived from Grandma Judy. The guys wanted to ahve the first swim so Mommy put them in there with me. We voted George Monkey--head lifeguard.

More Frequent Flyer Miles!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Kansas last week. First we went to Grandpa Tom and Grandma Janet's house in Lawrence. Then we went to Manhattan for a wedding of one of Mommy and Daddy's friends. Manhattan is where Mommy and Daddy met at Kansas State University.
I had some graham crackers at the reception. Daddy's shirt might have had some, too. But I was a very good girl and stayed quiet through the whole thing.
Here are we are ready to go to the wedding. Don't we clean up well?

On Saturday morning, I had to make a few calls in the hotel room. I had to call George Monkey and the rest of the guys back home in Montana to make sure they were okay.

On Friday evening, we went to the rehearsal dinner. It was outside since the weather was so nice. Outside is one of my favorite places, especially when there is grass to play in.

Here we are outside the Kansas State University Alumni Building. Mommy and Daddy are lifetime members. This is one of the many Wildcats on campus and they say if you rub his nose, it's good luck. I did just that!

We went to Mommy's soroity house, Gamma Phi Beta. Grand Judy, Aunt 'B', and Mommy are all Gamma Phi's. Maybe someday I'll be one too! Grandma Judy says that if I chose another sorority there might not be a chair at her Christmas table! Do you think she means that?

When we got to Manhattan, we took a long walk on the campus of Kansas State University. That's where Mommy and Daddy met! They say K-State is one of the best places on the earth. Here's Mommy and me outside the dairy barn, Call Hall. There's purple Wildcats everywhere! Mommy and Daddy have hopes that I'll be a purple Wildcat someday too!

On the morning before we left Lawrence, Daddy and I helped Grandpa Tom pick strawberries from his garden. He has lots of stuff in there--tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, strawberries, onions & carrots. We got to eat them right out of the garden because Grandpa Tom doesn't put any chemicals on them. Daddy gave me a little bite of his strawberry and it sure was yummy!

Here are four generations of Rezniceks---Grandma Janet, Me, Daddy, and Great-Grandma Loretta. This was the first time I had met her. We all had dinner at the dining room where she lives and all her friends thought I was the cutest baby they'd ever seen. Well, DUH! Great-Grandma asked the kitchen for a cup of shredded cheese....it was yummy, but I may have destroyed the dining room floor.
Oh well, all the grandmas and grandpas there like watching me!
Mommy, Daddy, & I visted MY godfather Matt's parents when we were in Kansas. Their names are Tom & Marilyn. They ahd a kitty at their house, but he wouldn't let me get very close.

We went to a park for a picnic and there were swings! Me and my trusty spoon had a great time. I still don't have much hair...but it's coming!
Here I am with Grandma Janet playing with my new bear. Grandpa Tom retired recently from the BNSF Radilroad after many years of service and he got me this bear. His name is Casey Jones, after a fmaous railroader. I'm sure I'll learn about him in school someday.

Just Chillin' at Home

This machine is amazing. Mommy puts really icky messy clothes into it and a while later, they come out clean. Who knew that some fancy machine could do all that? Laundry....boring to some...fascinating to others.
Sunday after church, Mommy made chocolate chip pancakes for Daddy. I didn't get any chocolate chips, but I did enjoy those pancakes. Yummy! Here I am in the kitchen with Mommy bugging her to hurry up!

Believe it or not, when I hear the Jeopardy theme song, I head towards the television. I don't get to watch much, but it seems I'm allowed to watch this program. Daddy says he hopes that I aspire to be on TEEN Jeopardy some day.

Here's my 'brother' Moose laying in MY stroller and takin' a nap. 'Brother' Rocky is on the floor. I love my cat brothers!
