Our trip to Kansas!

Ya know, when the day is almost done and you're sort of winding down, there is nothing better than good cold mug of milk. It's really my favorite drink in the world.
I'm getting to be a big girl now, so I tried going down the slide by myself. Good thing Grandpa Tom as there for a little back-up.....just in case.

My daddy is a great playmate...we do lots of crazy things together. I love my daddy.

One afternoon we went to the park. Whoa....was it fun!
I got to play with some of my daddy's old toys. Trucks and things that I've never played with before. Boy's toys are sort of fun.
Rain or shine; I've got all the weather covered! I loved being outside at
Grandpa Tom and Grandma Janet's house.
Grandma Janet had fruit and I wanted some. I love fruit.
We had a little rain while we were in Kansas, but lucky me--Mommy brought my coat.
Here I am playing with Grandpa Tom. We were playing farm..it was fun.
We stopped in Kansas City to see some of my daddy's relatives! It was nice to get out of the car for a while and play with new toys and meet new people.
After breakfast on Sunday of Uncle Jeff's Big Day, we got a strange car from the airport and drove to Kansas where Grandpa Tom and Grandma Janet live. I slept most of the way with my new friend from the zoo, Polly Parrot. I don't remember seeing much of Kansas.

Uncle Jeff's Big Day

Grandma and I play silly games together. She calls me her "girlfriend."
I think that's fun to be a girlfriends.
After the zoo, we all headed back to Uncle Jeff's and just hung out in his pretty back yard. I love Uncle Jeff's dog, Harrison. I brought him a treat all the way from Montana.

Here's Grandpa and I leaving the zoo with my new friend Polly Parrot. He's green....I like him.

This was really my favorite part. You walk behind the waterfall and then reach out and touch it. Very cool

The zoo had this cool jungle place. It was hot and steamy, but we didn't mind.

Saturday afternoon, after my nap...we all went to the zoo in Omaha. It was soooooo fun!
Here's the tiger. They say grrrrrr
It was cold and windy when we left the store, so I resorted to my Mother Mary look
Look at Grandpa! He's putting on a Daniel Boone hat at the store!
On Saturday, we did a little shopping. We went to this store where they had these cool things....like this yellow puppy that looks just like Uncle Jeff's Harrison. We became fast friends!
I had to introduce Uncle Jeff to my favorite Mickey Mouse video. Can you believe it? He'd never seen it! So we sat in his office and watched it. We even did the Hot Dog Dance!

This is Aunt B and me. Aunt B is Grandma's sister. I wasn't too sure about her at first, but I finally agreed to let her pick me up and hold me.

After graduation, the big people all came back to Uncle Jeff's to celebrate. There's my family, Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Jeff and Uncle Ronnie & Aunt B.
I didn't go to Uncle Jeff's graduation. I stayed with Aunt Michaela because I didn't want to miss my naptime and graduations are sort of boring. Uncle Jeff is somewhere in this crowd of 1300 graduates. Funny hats they wore!
The morning of the graduation, we headed over to Uncle Jeff's house to give him a hand getting ready for his celebration. Daddy thought the patio needed to cleared off, so he got this really noisy machine out and cleared off all the leaves.

As soon as we got to Uncle Jeff's house, I wanted to play! After all, I'd been stuck on an airline for hours and I needed to play. Uncle Jeff let me get into his cupboards and pull out pots and pans. Here's Grandpa and I cooking up a storm!
The first weekend in May we all flew back to Nebraska for a special weekend. My Uncle Jeff graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and we were not going to miss this big event.
