Laugh it up......

Laugh it up! Laugh it up! Look at this silly little pumpkin hat Mommy put on me today before we went to work. Grandpa Marty bought it for me when I was first born and I've finally grown into it. I guess the adults in my life find silly hats like this pretty humorous; and for now, I'll let it go. But someday, I'm going to have a vocal opinion about wearing this stuff!

Lions & Tigers & Bears....Oh No!

Here I am smiling the day after the scary bear-incident. My little smile practically sends my Mommy and Daddy over the edge with delight! Who knew such a simple thing could get such a reaction. I love my Mommy & Daddy sooooooo much so it's easy to smile at them.

One night this week when Mommy was up feeding me, she heard a lot of commotion on the patio. When she looked out the window, she saw a Mama Bear & a Baby Bear tipping over our BBQ-grill! She woke Daddy up and he went out into the commons area of our condo and saw the late night visitors staring back at him. Oh no! Luckily I was safe inside and the bear family left.

Good Days & Bad...

Monday, October 20th wasn't such a good day. I had to go to the doctor and get shots! Daddy held me 'cause Mommy isn't as brave. I screamed so hard I almost turned blue. But after it was all over, I got a spiffy gold-sparkle band-aid, a bottle, and a nap on the way home. I don't like shots but I'm glad it's over.

Sunday, October 19th was a good day. I went on my first hike with Mommy & Daddy. We went to beautiful Ousel Falls, which isn't too far from our house. I loved being carried so close to Daddy and slept through most of the hike. What a beautiful day it was.

Halloween is Coming!

Here I am with this pumpkin guy. Not sure what he's all about; but everyone tells me I'll love trick-or-treating later on.

These are my "big brothers" Moose & Rocky. They are 18 lbs a piece....that's way more than I weigh right now. Rocky is always alerting Mommy when I'm crying. He comes and sits by me anytime I'm crying. Moose could care less!

Here I am in one of my Halloween outfits. They keep calling me "pumpkin" for some reason.....I don't get it.

The Baptism

Here we all are after the service. My Godparents, Matt & Michaela, Mommy & Daddy, and of course, me....the guest of honor!!! I was exhausted; so I slept alot thru church.

This is the view we all had looking out from behind the alter. It's really a beautiful church, but God takes the credit for the scenery outside.

Here I am getting baptised. I was quiet as a mouse during the whole service. Even when Father poured the water on my head, I didn't make a peep. Mommy told me I had to be a very good girl in church.
This is my baptism hat & blanket that Grandma Judy made for me. The lace is from her wedding gown and veil. I didn't get a picture of me in the hat, because I didn't sleep AT ALL the night before the baptism, so I was a little cranky about putting it on. Oh well, the hat opens up into a handkerchief, that someday I can carry on my wedding day. It was a nice gift from Grandma I think.

Here I am waiting in the back of the church for the service to begin. Everyone was staring at me when we came down the aisle. I didn't mind....I had on Mommy's baptismal gown that she wore a long time ago.

Daddy's golf course

These are just a few pictures of where my Daddy works. He is the Assistant Superintendent of The Reserve @ Moonlight Basin here in Big Sky, MT.

They don't call it BIG SKY for nothing up here! It's huge!

There's a story that Daddy could tell you about every hole and every green that they have built this past summer, while Mommy was working on 'building me!"

That's Lone Peak in the background. It's really high up. Daddy says some day I might be able to go skiing with him up there!

Daddy knows more about building a golf course than any of us. He works really hard, long days...and it's all for me!
Just look at all the cart paths. It'd be fun to ride around with Daddy some day.

The Big Weekend

Me, Mommy & Aunt Michaela. Oh the things the three of us are going to do some day!

I love my mommy! And I am just now beginning to smile on a regular basis when she talks to me.

We watched a lot of football on Saturday when the relatives were in MT. Here I am in my K-State jacket....I just couldn't finish watching the game because I was just too tired.

This is the silly pink hat that Grandma bought for me. I don't really think it fits but I put it on just to amuse her. The things you have to do to keep relatives happy! Geesh!

This is my 'Uncle' Matt Noonan. He's my godfather. He and my daddy have been best friends since they were little boys. He's an engineer and mommy says if I ever have math problems in school, Uncle Matt will get a call. He's really a smart guy.

This is my Grandpa Tom from Lawrence, KS. He's my daddy's dad and I was so glad to get to meet him. He was very good at holding me and feeding me.

Finally it was Grandpa Marty's turn to hold me. He tells me funny stories, but I like 'em.

Wow! I can't believe how little I feel when big Uncle Jeff holds me! He's like a giant and I'm so little, but I sure feel safe when he holds me. He and I are going to go skiing together some day and he'll take me to the back bowls I hope! He's also going to teach me a lot about football, since everyone in our family loves football.
Great-Grandma Audrey and I were caught talking about fashion trends in this picture.
This is the first time I met my Great-Grandma Audrey and my Uncle Jeff. They liked me right away. This is my "new" Uncle Cole who's going to marry Aunt Michaela in April in Nebraska. They're standing outside with me right after we all met with my mom & dad. Cole came to MT for the baptism, and to meet our whole family too. It will be fun to go back to Nebraska in April for the wedding and mommy says I'll get a new pretty dress. Oh boy!

This is my Godmother, Aunt Michaela. She and my mommy have been friends since they were six years old! Isn't she beautiful. She's really good with babies like me.

I met the most important people in my life during the weekend of October 2-5. Grandma Judy came before then and helped Mommy & me get ready for tons of company. It was fun just have some one-on-one time with Grandma and Mommy & Daddy even went out to dinner by themselves one night. Getting ready for a party is a lot of work, so I took frequent naps.

My Room

This is the bear that my Uncle Jeff sent me. He's a senior at UNO in Nebraska and this bear reminds me how much he loves me.

This is a picture of my room. It's the best place in the whole condo and it is where I love to sleep. Mommy painted my name/letters over my crib and I like the whole jungle theme alot.
