Family Pictures from the Photographer

When we were back in Nebraska for Aunt Michaela's wedding, we had a photographer come to Grandma's house and take tons of pictures of all of us. If you'd like to see the galleries of pictures go to:

Memorial Weekend Picnic Time

Here we are...my family. Check out the scenery that WE have for our picnics. We may live a long ways away from everyone, but just look how beautiful my neighborhood is. (And yes, I know...that silly hat again! Geesh! I'm hoping I grow out of pretty soon...but I bet Grandma will find another one if when I get too big for this one!)
Holy Cow! While we were having our picnic, we heard this huge noise; sounded like very
low-flying plane. Then Daddy saw it! It was a Class IV Wet Slab Avalanche on the northeast bowl of Fan Mountain. (My daddy took an avalanche course...he knows about this kind of stuff). Any way he quickly grabbed the camera and caught the last part of the slide as it rolled over the trees. Whoa....dangerous stuff sometimes. Glad we were a long ways away!!

Here I am flirting with my Daddy. He can't resist a girl in a fancy hat!

Hmmmmm....do pine cones really have organic fiber benefits? Don't worry; Mommy took it away from me so I couldn't choke.

Here I am with Mommy; just chillin'....

I use just about anything to pull myself up...including Daddy's lunch cooler.

Here I am enjoying the view!

On Memorial Day Weekend, Mommy and I headed up the mountain to where Daddy was working on the golf course. I got to ride in a real John Deere gator. We went slow, but it was fun to ride with my Dad. Before we arrived for the picnic, Daddy saw a Black Bear on Hole #16 Tees. You don't want to play with those big bears.

Springtime in Montana....

Party time in the crib! Here I am with all my guys: Leo Lion, Gerry Giraffe, Kit Kat, Porky Pig, Pooh Bear, Brown Dog, Larry & Lucy Lamb, George Monkey, and a couple of 'mooses' just for good measure. A girl can never have enough crib friends to play with, can she?
Here I am chillin' with Mommy in the kitchen having some dried strawberries. Yum!

This picture is just for you Grandpa Marty! Here I am crawling around on the Bud blankie...it's soft and nicer than the scratchy grass.

Daddy's golf balls are fun to play with.

Hmmmmmm....Diet Coke....I see Mommy drinking that....wonder what that tastes like? Guess I'll have to wait on that one.

We have had some very nice days, so it was time for me to get some fresh air time. Mom puts that silly hat on me, but I will say it keeps me from getting a sunburn. We're closer to the sun up here in the mountains, and little kids like me can get "fried" in no time!
Here I am in my high chair with my UNO outfit on from Uncle Jeff. He goes to school there and bought me this spiffy outfit with this big bull on it. Makes me look big and strong...and cute!

Mother's Day in Montana!

We went for a nice hike on Mother's Day.
The weather in Montana is almost like spring;
some days! Here I am in our spiffy new infant carrier. It's got the deluxe sun top to protect me from the sun and has plenty of room for me to kick around in. I fell asleep on some of the hike; thought the scenery was a little too boring on this hike for my entertainment. This summer we'll go to some spectacular places on our hikes and take beautiful pictures.
Check out my new lady bug hat from Grandma Judy! It's really got a big brim on it. Something about sunburns and little kids just don't go together, I guess. Daddy says it looks more like a pink sombrero!

Here's Daddy and me in our golf hats. I think mine might be just a little too big for now!

Mother's Day weekend started with a little laundry. I thought I'd help Mommy sort thru my basket of clothes. Not sure what I'm sorting however. I'm crawling all over and pulling myself up on everything in the house. My brother-kitties aren't safe anywhere any more. I find them and then pull myself up to where they are sleeping. They are getting disgusted with my mobility!

Happy May!

Ahhhhhhhhh....a little spa time with my best friend Rubber Ducky. Bath time is just my favorite thing in the whole world. There's nothing like a long soak at the end of a busy day.
Here I am enjoying a little "nakie" time with my new activity table. I don't think this pose is too controversial, is it? I'm not going to be in any beauty pagents any time soon, so I don't think anyone can use this against me!

Here I am with my kitty, Rocky. Now that I can move around the house, I thought I'd check out what he was doing. I splashed in his water bowl. He didn't like that very much. I think I better just leave them alone when they are eating.

I've also learned to pull myself up in the crib. Here I am just after waking up from my nap. I'm sometimes scared that I'm all alone in my room and want to make sure that Mommy is coming soon, so I don't look the happiest in the picture. Luckily, she was right there.

About May 1st, I decided to crawl. Yep...just one day it all came together and I started moving around the condo. Here I am with one of my kitties. I like to follow them everywhere. I'm not sure they're thrilled when I face-plant into them, but they seem to tolerate me pretty well.

Here I am after eating a baby biscuit. They taste real yummy, although I'm sort of a messy eater. I have 2 full teeth on the bottom and am starting to get some top teeth. These biscuits sure help with the process. It hurts some days. By the way, did you notice I finally getting a little hair on top of my head? Not much, but it's coming.
