I went to Camp Grandma for a whole week, 7/11-7/18. Just Mommy & I flew from Montana to spend a whole week with Grandma and Grandpa. Uncle Jeff's dog, Harrison came to Camp Grandma too, as Uncle Jeff's house was getting painted outside and he had no where to go. Camp Grandma was awesome. We did projects every day, earned "badges" for our accomplishments and I even got a camp t-shirt and bag! Here are quite a few pictures of our adventure at Camp Grandma. It was a great week!
Yummmmmeeeeee! This stuff is good. Some day I'd like to try it with butter and salt & pepper.
Mommy and Daddy say that I'm a K-State Wildcat. (that's where they went to school). But according to this picture taken at Grandma and Grandpa's, I still have a little Cornhusker in me. I learned how to shuck an ear of corn and then I got to taste it!
Grandma and I went out to her flower garden and picked a pretty pink flower. Grandma says she'll teach me all about growing flowers some day.
Here I am showing Harrison my new Camp Grandma T-Shirt that I got. It has a logo and everything on it. I also got a Camp Grandma tote bag to carry my stuff home on the plane.
On the last night of Camp Grandma, we had a nice BBQ and "awards" ceremony on the back deck. Harrison got some nice awards and a cup of "Frosty Paws" ice cream in a cup. It was such a fun week @ Camp Grandma
Since there was hardly anyone at Lochland when we where there, Mommy let me play on the floor while they all ate dinner. I promptly cleaned out her purse for her. But I was quiet and good, so it worked out well for all of us.
Mommy and me sharing good times.
One evening, we all dressed up and went to Lochland for dinner. I wore my new Ladybug outfit. I was fascinated by the waitress. She was nice to me. I had some cheese, a strawberry and a cracker. It was good.
One afternoon, Mommy, Grandma and I went to Lochland to the pool. I wasn't overly-excited about it. There was lots of noise and people. I think I like my private pool at Grandma's house better.
One morning, Mommy's cousin Laura came to visit us. She brought her children along too! This is Madelyn and Andrew. Andrew is only a month younger than I am. We had a great time playing together. Great-Grandma came along too.
Another fun game is playing with Grandma's costume jewelry. It was sparkling and fun to look at. I didn't get a chance to see the real stuff....maybe some day.
Even though I don't have a lot of hair yet, I can still learn the techniques of styling brushes and styling products. It's never too early for a girl to recognize the benefit of good hair products!
We played lots of games during the week. Here I am with some old remotes from TV's. I love pushing all the buttons. Can you say BIG screen?
This is my crab-walk crawl. My knees get in the way, so I've developed this unique way of getting around. I'd like to walk; it's just that this crawl-thing is so much quicker right now.
Diaper time in the kitchen!
Here's Grandpa and I playing on the kitchen floor. We'd take empty boxes and put stuff in them. I also liked eating Cherrios out of his hand. I really liked Grandpa and went to him right away this trip. He's nice.
Here's Harrison protecting the pool area while Mommy and I have fun.
Camper Harrison had his own pool. We usually went swimming at the same time; just different pools for each of us to enjoy.
Here's one of the many times I went swimming....sometimes with my clothes on and sometimes in my swimming suit.
Here's Mommy and Me. Is that outfit #2, #3 or # 4 for the day?
Here's a fun game---Jell-O! You take the boxes out of Grandma's cupboard and play with them on the floor. Mommy was cooking in the kitchen and I thought I would join her.
Mommy, Me & Uncle Jeff. I wish Uncle Jeff could have come to Camp Grandma for the week, but he had to go back to Omaha and work. Maybe next time he'll stay.
Here I am sitting on Uncle Jeff's lap after I got out of the pool the first day.
